Sponsor & Exhibitor Policy 

 
Purpose
Meeting exhibitions and sponsorships provide an educational forum for participants.  The Southern Academy welcomes exhibitors and sponsors, as they constitute an important means of keeping registrants informed of new and improved products and services for the provision of periodontal care.
 
Participation
The Southern Academy reserves the sole and absolute right to determine which firms and products are appropriate for inclusion in the exhibition and to refuse, cancel, or restrict any applicant or exhibit which it considers undesirable for any reason.
 
This provision applies to the exhibitors’ conduct, printed matter, samples, questionnaires, or for any other reason that the Southern Academy deems objectionable.  If the Southern Academy decides that any of these do not meet its standards or have not been met, the exhibitor must at once comply with the Southern Academy requests or can withdraw from the meeting and, if appropriate, be refunded the rental fee, prorated for the unused time.
 
The Southern Academy logo is not to be used on any printed or electronic materials.
 
Endorsements
Acceptance of a product(s), service, or company as a sponsor or exhibitor shall not be construed to mean or imply endorsement by the Southern Academy of that product(s), service, or company.
 
The following statement shall be included in any material published, printed or electronically transmitted.
 

“DISCLAIMER: The Southern Academy of Periodontology does not endorse specific products or equipment. This is not intended as an endorsement by the Southern Academy of Periodontology.”
